Meet our executive team

Rael Levitt

Founder and CEO

Rael holds two MBAs – from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business and the National University of Singapore. He has over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector and has successfully founded several leading real estate companies. A born leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, Rael is innovative, eternally optimistic and strives for continuous improvement. He loves to travel, has authored his own book, reads incessantly and runs marathons.

Jodi Sher

Chief Marketing & Product Officer

Jodi has over 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising and has launched and led two advertising agencies. Before joining Inospace in 2019, she developed integrated strategy and communication campaigns for blue-chip brands, locally and internationally. She takes a client-centric approach and believes that strategy should always be driven by insight and lead to meaningful solutions. Her true passion is uplifting communities and she dedicates whatever time she can to non-profit welfare projects and business mentoring.

David Bernstein

Chief Operating Officer

David heads up new investments, asset and project management. He ensures that the company’s acquisitions, assets and investment strategies grow the group. Before joining Inospace, David qualified as a chartered accountant and worked for Heriot Properties as CFO of their African portfolio. In his spare time, David loves being in nature, photographing wildlife and spending time with his wife and young son.

Nick Shabason

Chief Financial Officer

Nick leads Inospace’s Finance team, bringing 14+ years of experience in private equity, corporate finance/M&A and executive roles. As a CA(SA) with a BBusSci in Finance from UCT, he is dedicated to adding strategic, commercial and cross-functional value to the business. In his free time, he enjoys family activities, running and golf.

David Bernstein

Chief People Officer

David is a seasoned HR professional with 20+ years of experience in people development, strategy, and building organisational culture. He graduated from the University of Cape Town with a degree in HR and Advanced Labour Management and has been recognised with numerous accolades, including a top 10 Sage small business award. David leverages his expertise to create effective strategies aligned with the company's goals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching the news, coaching and playing sports.

Senior Management

Arno Combrinck

Group Financial Manager

Arno has 29 years of experience in financial management, including roles as Registrar, Group Financial Manager, and CFO, with 21 years focused on property. He helped start entities in online vehicle sales, mining equipment, and property fund sales, and was a founding team member of Inospace. Arno is a Director and Public Officer of various entities and enjoys music, sports, and trail running.

Llewellyn Olivier

Property Financial Analyst

Llewellyn coordinates acquisitions and disposals, conducts financial analysis and feasibility of optimizations to maximize value and returns of the property portfolio. Llewellyn is a CA(SA) with background in FDD and business analysis. Llewellyn has a love for the outdoors and can be found on the golf course or enjoying the African bush.

Dean Venske

Group Portfolio Manager

Dean brings over a decade of logistics expertise and a tech-first approach to his role in Property Management at Inospace. With a Master’s degree from the University of Pretoria and extensive experience at DCB Logistics, Dean excels in optimizing processes and scaling operations. An avid cyclist, he applies the same focus and endurance required on the bike to his professional endeavors, driving innovation and efficiency in every project.

Charné du Plessis

Portfolio Manager (JHB)

Charné oversees the daily operations of Inospace’s properties in Johannesburg, ensuring optimal efficiency and service delivery. With over 15 years of property management experience, she holds a full-status agent designation with the Estate Agency Affairs Board. Charne is passionate about the customer and human elements of client service within the property sector. She loves being outdoors and spending time with her husband and two boys amidst their busy social lives.

Lucille Van Harte

Portfolio Manager (CPT)

With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Lucille has held positions in property funds, including leasing, sales management, and property operations. Her expertise in property leasing and management enables effective client collaboration to enhance asset value. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting her son at soccer games.

Daniel Sher

Sales and Leasing Manager

Daniel joined Inospace as a Business Development Manager in 2018, bringing experience from the hospitality industry and a family business. His skills in sales and management quickly made him invaluable. Daniel now leads the leasing team, driving success. Off-duty, he enjoys golf and spending time with his wife and two cats.

Preshane Munthree

Head of Projects

Preshane holds a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Pretoria and is a registered Architect. This design origin was leveraged in project management for various companies such as FNB, ABSA, Bidvest, and Cell C. It also drives his current passion and vision at Inospace for client focused and innovative space. His other true passion is spending quality time with his wife and daughter.

Natasha Christensen

Group Marketing Manager

Natasha is a marketing professional with over 20 years in traditional, digital, and experiential marketing. This includes project management and event organising at prominent advertising agencies and major South African events. Known for her attention to detail and dedication, Natasha ensures high-quality outcomes. She enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with friends, and adores her dog and cat.
