Inospace appoints Dean Venske as Chief Operating Officer amid leadership changes
Dean Venske steps into the COO role at Inospace as the company accelerates its evolution into a logistics platform supporting ecommerce through smart tech and service innovation.

Inospace, South Africa’s leading owner and operator of last-mile logistics parks and micro-industrial spaces, has announced Dean Venske's appointment as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective 1 August 2025.
Venske’s promotion marks a major milestone in Inospace’s broader leadership restructure, which aims to drive operational excellence, scale a next-generation logistics platform, and support the company’s ambitious growth trajectory.
With a master’s degree in logistics and supply chain management and over a decade of industry experience, Venske joined Inospace in 2023 as Logistics Manager and was later promoted to Group Operations Manager. His promotion to the executive ranks follows the recent appointments of Llewellyn Olivier as Chief Financial Officer and David Bernstein as Managing Director.
Over the past 18 months, Venske has led a sweeping transformation of Inospace’s operational core, significantly enhancing efficiencies, digitising essential processes, and embedding a customer-first mindset throughout the organisation. From revamping procurement systems and outsourcing facilities management to rolling out a property inspection app and integrated workplace tools, his impact has been swift and substantial.
“I joined Inospace because I believed in its mission and because I knew its logistics engine could run faster, leaner and smarter,” said Venske. “We’ve rebuilt the operational foundation, and now we’re building the future. We’re not just offering space anymore. We’re part of our customers’ supply chains. Our parks are platforms. Our people are partners. Our services are infrastructure.”
From fulfilment to full platform
Initially brought in to launch Inospace’s in-house fulfilment division, Venske played a critical role in transforming it into a profitable, fast-scaling business unit. Fulfilment was the first paid service developed by the company and has become the cornerstone of its broader platform strategy.
Building on that foundation, Inospace is now doubling down on its services offering. The company will soon announce the appointment of a new Head of Logistics Systems, as it deepens its capabilities across the supply chain and builds a truly integrated ecosystem of physical space, services and smart logistics technology.
A platform for ecommerce growth
Today, Inospace is evolving from a property owner into a logistics platform purpose-built for smaller ecommerce brands. The company offers a 360-degree solution that includes micro-warehouses, workspaces, fulfilment centres and last-mile distribution infrastructure underpinned by proprietary systems that simplify complex logistics workflows.
From order processing and inventory management to complex packing operations delivered via intuitive, user-friendly interfaces, Inospace’s new technology stack is designed to help clients operate faster, smarter and more cost-effectively.
“Dean’s deep logistics background has allowed us to think and operate like a logistics company, not just a property provider,” said Managing Director David Bernstein. “He understands that it’s about more than space. It’s about systems, service and speed.”
Teamwork, talent and the new operating model
Venske has also driven a cultural and organisational shift inside Inospace. By outsourcing non-core functions, introducing performance-focused tech tools, and assembling a team of logistics-savvy professionals, he has helped reshape the company’s operational model.
Park operations, inspections, fulfilment and client servicing are now managed by dedicated specialists who see Inospace as part of the logistics value chain.
“We’re creating a team of professionals who deliver with the precision of a logistics provider and the agility of a tech platform,” added Venske. “It’s about teamwork, service and always improving.”
